Because I’m a good kid (read above), my family is always looking for a pet-friendly resort in Minnesota for our vacations, and I feel like a scavenger. Whether you have a puppy or a new puppy in your group, you can include them in any family tree

1. a report on travel. When traveling by car with your dog or cat, it’s important to be prepared. Safety should always be number one. Like I said, I’m a simple guy so if I can look out the window to the beautiful views of Minnesota then I’m a happy guy. I personally am a fan of seat belt lanyards. Here is the one I have https://www.chewy.com/kurgo-direct-to-seatbelt-dog-collar/dp/56751. Some dogs and cats like a little more convenience like this one https://www.chewy.com/snoozer-pet-products-lookout-ii-dog/dp/140449. Whatever you like, unless you want to shave your clothes for months to get hair, even cover your car seats. Is it the only line? If you are not comfortable driving Max or Tiger, you will start the journey on the right foot.

Pet Friendly Calistoga Hotel

2. Is the pet up-to-date on flea and tick prevention? Is the person microchipped? These are the items to check off your list before you leave. Bring medication records with you in case of emergency or if your pet requires friendly assistance for vaccinations or medical history to keep. Preparing everyone for safe and sound health will make the times more enjoyable.

3. You might be surprised to learn how many friendly resorts there are in Minnesota! If you are not sure, call around. There may be additional fees, weight restrictions, or rules about the types of pets you’re allowed to carry (not sure if they accept Buddy’s bearded dragons), but it’s the safest you can ask for. My personal favorite is The Red Door Resort. The space, the friendly and attentive staff, has a lot to offer
